Bethany never imagined her husband would betray her. She thought they had a strong marriage built on foundation of their shared faith. Then, one morning, everything she believed about her husband was shattered with a single phone call.
Her mother and sister rally to her side and the three women decide to spend the summer in a lake house together. This is a familiar pain for each of them since it's not the first time infidelity has wounded their family.
Is it possible to find true forgiveness and healing when the deepest place in your heart has been crushed?

I found this book to be a bit too short. There is a lot of potential to expand on the plot and further develop the characters. Instead it was quick and to the point. It seemed to all happen too quickly and I found myself wanting more from the story. The story is nothing new, but I trust I'll never be in the same position, since I really don't know what I would do if I ever have to a situation like that. Nonetheless, I liked the message of forgiveness and second chances, but the writing (e.g. all caps for emphasis?) and length leave a little something to be desired.Product details

Betrayal Wake edition by J Heather Leigh Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I Loved this story and I loved how mature the characters were.
Bethany and Tim had been married for over 8 years. They has a real good marriage until one day Bethany gets a phone call that could destroy her marriage.
Tim's betrayal is killing him. The last thing that he wanted to do was hurt his wife and daughter. He knows that his mistake could cost him his family and he is willing to do whatever it takes to get his family back.
This is a good book but it was a little too sad for me. The ending is great for everyone involved.
This was a quick, enjoyable read about families, infidelity, faith, and forgiveness. The characters were so likeable and even though it is a short story, you get emotionally involved with the characters almost immediately. I felt myself getting emotional during the first chapter. I would highly recommend this book! The ending is a little abrupt and I wish that there were more story to read to hear what happens next...maybe part 2?
I know how the wife felt. I know a lot of young women it has happened to. But this author handled the writing to we're you feel pain for the whole family. Really enjoyed it. A good book to live by.
both heartbreaking and healing at the same time. honest questions with honest answers throughout the storyline. just really loved it.
This novel looks at romantic commitment from the angle of each major character, and comes up with a hope-filled outcome for them all, providing they're willing to take a risk and work at it. I won't tell you whether they do or not. ;)
An easy, positive read with a definite Christian viewpoint.
What a wonderful short story about family, love, and infidelity. The author has a way of bringing you right into the story and helping you to feel what the characters are experiencing. Have a few tissues ready, But alplan on some big grins too. There re a few surprises in here and a lot of "feel good" reading.
